Please read the following message from Jaimie Jenks, Executive Director of Central Coast Freedom Network:
My name is Jaimie Jenks (class of ’03 and ’06), and I am reaching out to you because my nonprofit organization needs a new treasurer. This is a volunteer board officer position, which can be done remotely.
We are an anti-human trafficking agency located in San Luis Obispo. Our mission is to mobilize the community to counter human trafficking. (https://www.centralcoastfreedomnetwork.org)
The treasurer will be required to do our books in Quickbooks. We have a small budget ($50,000) and basic accounts. The estimated time commitment is between 5-7 hours per month. Our virtual board meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month.
Additionally, we want to start a finance committee and would ask our new treasurer to chair it.
I am a firm believer in helping ambitious students build their skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to focus on nonprofit accounting and gain some leadership experience.
