Who should apply?
You may qualify if you:
Are a current student at a two- or four-year college or university and one or more years away from graduation
Are a prospective, current or elected leader in a student organization dedicated to fostering leadership at your institution, including organizations focused on accounting, business or technology

​Part-time job opportunity as a bookkeeper with Blue Tomorrow (blue-tomorrow.com), a local environmental consulting company. Our team specializes in on-the-ground data collection, modeling, and analyses to evaluate and develop solutions for environmental problems. We provide consultation and gather evidence to help public agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies in achieving their resource management and pollution mitigation goals. Founded by UCSB alumni, we are located in downtown Santa Barbara. We're looking for someone to join our team and growing company and work alongside management on a variety of tasks. 
 
This position is expected to be 4-8 hours a week, performing accounting and financial responsibilities like bookkeeping, billing, invoicing, payroll, and forecasting/budgeting. We're looking for an organized problem solver that pays close attention to detail. Basic accounting knowledge, as well as Excel and QuickBooks experience, is desired but not required. Pay is $22/hour with an opportunity for more hours over the initial weeks. Flexible work schedule and casual office environment. This is an on-site internship, so you must have access to a stable commute to downtown.
