It’s #beckerweek! We’re excited to host Becker throughout the week who will be putting on great events for you. 
 
On Wednesday, May 18, during our Weekly Meeting, Becker will be holding a Live CPA Exam Review class with an instructor. We know many of you are determining which way you feel most comfortable studying for your CPA Exams. This is the perfect opportunity to see if a class is right for you. If you are a freshman or sophomore, don’t skip this event as it is never too early to start thinking about your CPA. As always food will be provided. If you like, RSVP on our Facebook event page. We'll see you in IV Theater 2 at 5:30 p.m.
 
Becker has also been gracious to sponsor our UAS Beach Day. Many of you attended our Gio’s Pizza Night so we thought this would be another great way to socialize. We are excited to close out the school year, celebrating your many accomplishments and sending our seniors off in style. Please join us on Friday, May 20 at noon. We will announce the location shortly so be sure to check your email or our Facebook event. (FREE) Lunch will be provided. We wish to thank Becker for hosting this social and for being available during the event to answer any questions about the CPA Exam or the process to become licensed.

Spring quarter is quickly coming to an end, and summer will be here before you know it. We know that many of you will be participating in the fall recruiting process starting in Fall 2016. Meet the Firms will be at the end of Week 2 on Friday, October 7, 2016. This doesn’t leave you with much time to prepare once fall quarter begins.
 
Don’t panic. Our Weekly Meeting this Wednesday, May 4, at 5:30 p.m. is specifically focused on the preparations you can make this summer. Many of you did not attend last week’s meeting on networking and business etiquette so don’t let another opportunity to get ahead for Meet the Firms pass you by.
 
If you are a freshman or are new to UAS and don’t know what Meet the Firms is, this is the meeting for you. We will cover all the basics of the recruitment process.
 
This is the only time we will be so clearly guiding you through the recruitment process. We are happy to help and can’t wait to see all the successes that will come your way in the fall. Don’t miss this opportunity. I can’t stress enough, how important your attendance at this meeting is.
