The UAS Board is excited to announce that our first ever Winter Gauntlet 2021 Registration is now LIVE! The Gauntlet takes place on Friday, January 15th from 1:00 PM to 5:35 PM. The event is invaluable in that it gives you face-time with many professionals who will attend Winter Meet the Firms, in an environment where mistakes are completely acceptable. It is meant for first and second years looking for Freshman Programs and Summer Leadership Programs; however, all students are welcome to attend. The event is 75 minutes long per time slot, split into 3 stages for 25 minutes each: Resume Critique, Mock Meet the Firms, and Mock Interview. Please read the below instructions and the FAQs carefully before registering for The Gauntlet. Registering for the Gauntlet is a 3 part process. You must complete all the steps in order or your registration will be compromised. Step 1: Register for our 2020-21 membership if you haven't already here. Step 2: Register for the Gauntlet on Eventbrite here. Step 3: a) Fill out the sign-up form to secure your time slot. You will receive the link to the form after signing up during Step 2— it will be at the bottom of your confirmation email. We have limited slots, so please do not sign up for the Gauntlet unless you are absolutely certain you will attend. The firms will be aware of the students who RSVP'd but were no-shows for the event. Please note that you are required to stay for the full 75 minutes from your registered time. b) We highly encourage students to submit resumes when registering for the time slot. The firms will use our Resume Book to learn more about you or contact you before/after the event. As professionals are aware that these resumes are drafted/unrefined and will be critiqued during the event, mistakes are acceptable! Please generate a link to your resume before submitting it. Detailed instructions for how to do this can be found here. Gauntlet Registration will close on January 13th at 11:59 PM. You can only sign up once so please check everything before submitting. We suggest registering well before the 13th so you can sign up for a time slot that works with your schedule. Please see the attachment below for FAQs related to Gauntlet registration.
