Save the Date(s) - Winter Gauntlet & Meet the Firms

The UAS Board is thrilled to announce our two big recruiting events of Winter 2022 - The Gauntlet and Meet the Firms.

The Winter Gauntlet is a 90-minute long experience for students that allows them to undergo the various stages of recruiting in one setting. 

1. Start by having your resume critiqued (25-min)
2. Rotate into a mock Meet the Firms experience (25-min)
3. Finish with a mock interview (25-min)

There will be a 5-min break in between each stage, so you will have time to move to each stage. The event is staffed by accounting professionals so it's a great way to get some one-on-one time with the professionals and to gain insight with recruiting before Winter Meet the Firms. This event is primarily for first and second-year students who intend on attending Winter Meet the Firms to search for Freshman Programs and Summer Leadership Programs. The Winter Gauntlet will take place on Friday, January 7th from 1:30 - 6:30 PM at the Mosher Alumni House.

Winter Meet the Firms is the second-largest recruiting event that UAS organizes during the year, the first being Fall Meet the Firms. This career fair-style networking and recruiting event connects students with professionals and recruiters in the accounting profession. We host representatives from the Big Four, mid-size, regional, and local firms. Firms in attendance will be seeking to find first-year and second-year students interested in Freshman Programs as well as Summer Leadership Programs (SLPs) and internships for the following summer, though all students are welcome to attend. Winter Meet the Firms will take place on Friday, January 21st from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Mosher Alumni House.
