UAS Spring Quarter Update

Hi Everyone,

By now you've likely received dozens of emails from organizations with which you have been involved with and we are all in a similar position. 

Due to the COVID-19 situation we will be halting all in person UAS meetings and events for the Spring quarter (such as the Banquet, Talent Show, Dodgeball Tournament, and other events and socials). Although Spring quarter is the most spectacular time to be a UAS member and UCSB student, we are still determined to provide online resources that our members can use during the next few weeks.

A lot of these sessions will be through Zoom and revolve around important topics that were going to be mentioned during the Spring quarter. One of these that we hope to provide is the Internship Experience Panel where students going into an internship can ask questions from panelists (who have already completed internships) about any tips to get the most out of it. Because of many internships likely being remote or condensed, this panel may be all the more important in order to make your time at an internship more valuable.

We will be sending out Google Forms gauging interest on various panels and resources that we can provide to all of you. If you would like us to focus on or provide any of you with resources please let us know by filling out the forms.
Above all, the one thing that matters is the safety and well-being of our incredible community. If any good can come out of this, it is that we must all work together and focus on making the most of an online spring quarter!
